Angela’s Picnic has been an annual treat for Gauteng-based classic car fans for decades, and celebrated its 41st year this past Sunday at Riversands Farm. Established back in 1983 by Angela Heinz, the event has attracted car clubs from all over, allowing fans to mingle between a vast assortment of classic vehicles of just about every vintage.
Entrance is free to all classic car owners, the only requirement is that a donation is made to Hospice Wits to assist with the palliative care of cancer afflicted patients. Despite a cold and cloudy start, the day cleared, and a full complement of classic cars were in attendance. Take a look at some of the exquisite machinery that was on display:
