Throughout the entire month of February Autoworld, as usual, places a facet of the Bugs in the spotlight. This time around the focus is on cars which have undergone conversions. Because the Bugs’ chassis have inspired more than one, whether of the leisure or sports car version. 
Do you remember the Formula V single-seaters in which today’s numerous seasoned drivers cut their teeth? Or the dragsters, not forgetting the Fun Cup cars which each year compete in the 25 Hours on the Spa-Francorchamps circuit?
Then there were the Buggies, sold in kit form and fitted to cheap chassis of old cars, which were all the rage in our country some fifty years ago.
Many other “conversions” and several busses (in all some fifteen) will be displayed in the museum’s dedicated zones from the 1st February through to the 15th of March 2020.
